We are very proud to present our first performance video, Bloom. Bloom is the second track on Golden Gray and appears here in live and extended form. The video was directed by the head dude hisself, Daniel Bellury. Golden Gray is out now on Whale Heart Records. Read an interview with the band on the Village Voice blog about the making of the song.
HOW TO MEET THE GIRL OF YOUR DREAMS (FOOLPROOF)
Buy a falconer’s glove.
Approach the girl you like wearing the falconers glove.
Ask her “Excuse me, have you seen a falcon fly by here?”
Look up to the sky, hopeful/sad.
If she says “No,” look distraught and ask her if she wouldn’t mind helping…
Everyone talks about being right handed, or left handed. I wonder if I’m right legged or left legged.
I’m probably left legged.
Maybe.
Who knows.
We proudly present Golden Gray, the new album by Duchess Leo.

Of The Vine is made out of pure awesome.
Tracking for the new Little Horn album is pretty much complete. Mixing and mastering to start soon and its sounding good. We had an amazing time at The Living Room with Ed Rawls and Justin McNeight who made us feel right at home and I must say, recording reel-to-reel analog in a 100 year old house blew my mind. If you ever need to lay down an album, these are the guys to do it. Me and Daniel Bellury (my best friend, producer, and head dude of Whaleheart Records) headed out to Alabama the morning after to lay down vocals and discuss post-production ideas and additions at Metaltern Studios with our dear friend Daniel Whitt. It was magic and I can’t wait for you all to hear it and start getting familiar with the amazing guys in my band and their amazing skills. Release is tentatively Spring 2011 with pre-press starting in February. LOOK OUT!
